Personal data (hereinafter generally referred to as “data”) are processed by ICS Engineering Services only to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its content and the services offered therein. In addition, we inform you below of the third party components used by ICS for optimisation purposes and to enhance the quality of use, where third parties process data under their own responsibility.

II. Rights of users and data subjects

  • Right of access: According to Article 15 GDPR, data subjects have the right to request confirmation as to whether we are processing data relating to them. They may request access to such data as well as the further information listed in Article 15(1) GDPR and a copy of their data.
  • Right of rectification: In accordance with Article 16 GDPR, data subjects have the right to request the rectification or completion of the data concerning them that we have processed.
  • Right of cancellation: Data subjects have the right under Article 17 GDPR to request the immediate erasure of data relating to them. Alternatively, they may request that we restrict the processing of their data in accordance with Article 18 GDPR.
  • Right to data portability: Under Article 20 of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to obtain the data they have provided to us and to request that it be transferred to another controller.
  • Right of complaint: Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 GDPR.
  • Right of objection: If personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1) sentence 1 letter f) GDPR, data subjects have the right to object to the processing of their personal data in accordance with Article 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons arising from their particular situation or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, data subjects have a general right to object, which we will exercise without reference to any specific situation.

III. Information about data processing

The data processed in connection with the use of this website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies, the deletion of the data does not conflict with any legal obligation to retain the data and no further information is provided below on individual processing procedures.

Automated data processing (log files, etc.)

Our website can be visited without the user actively providing any personal information. However, we automatically store access data (server log files) such as the name of the Internet service provider, the operating system used, the website from which the user visits us (referrer URL), the date and duration of the visit or the name of the file requested, as well as the IP address of the terminal device used for a period of 7 days for security reasons, e.g. to detect attacks on our website.
We process and use the information for the following purposes: providing the website, improving our websites, preventing and detecting errors/malfunctions and misuse of the website.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests, pursuant to Article 6(1) letter f) GDPR, i.e. ensuring the functionality, error-free and secure operation of the website and its adaptation to user requirements.
